Blende

Blende, also known as sphalerite, is a mineral composed mainly of zinc sulfide (ZnS). It comes in different varieties, depending on the impurities it contains or its color. Here are the main types of blende

1- Marmatite: This variety contains significant traces of iron, giving it a darker color, often black or dark brown. 

2- Cleophane: This is the green variety. Non-scientific name that essentially comes from Bulgaria: cleiophane

3- Sphalerite: This variety has red hues, ranging from orange-red to deep red.
