About this specimen

This specimen of crystallized sulfur has an elongated form covered with numerous yellow crystals whose faces reflect the light clearly. The colors range from pale yellow to more intense yellow depending on the area and viewing angle.

The crystallization develops over several sides of the specimen, with an irregular morphology and pronounced relief. Some lighter areas of the matrix remain visible, particularly on the reverse side. The photos and video allow the specimen to be viewed from different angles.

Sulfur

Native sulfur is a chemical element with the symbol S. It can occur in crystallized form and is commonly characterized by yellow tones, whose intensity may vary between crystals and according to viewing conditions.
