Legends and beliefs

Amerindian peoples such as the Apache believed that fluorite possessed magical and healing powers. They used the stone to create talismans that were supposed to bring luck and protection to the wearer.

In ancient China, fluorite was often placed in homes to protect against evil spirits and bring prosperity.
