Dioptase, a hydrated copper silicate (CuSiO₂(OH)₂), grows mainly in regions rich in copper deposits. It is often found in rock cavities, where it frequently coexists with other minerals such as malachite and azurite. This mineral is particularly widespread in arid environments, where the interaction between groundwater and copper deposits creates conditions conducive to its formation.
