This pyrite and quartz association comes from the Zlatograd mine in Bulgaria, where it was collected in 2008. The main face is largely covered with cubic pyrite crystals displaying bright metallic surfaces.
On the reverse, the colourless to whitish quartz crystallisation is more clearly visible between the pyrite crystals. The piece measures 54 mm in length, 21 mm in width and 30 mm in height. It weighs 62 g.
