This purple fluorite comes from the Fontsante site in the Var region, a quarry known for the variety of fluorites discovered there. The specimen shows clearly identifiable cubic volumes, with deep purple tones and lighter areas that reveal the mineral’s internal structure.
Collected in 2001, this piece reflects the fluorites typical of that extraction period, with a compact texture and a color that stands out nicely under different lighting conditions.
With its dimensions of W: 49 mm × H: 37 mm, it offers a convenient format for observing the crystallization while remaining easy to display on a stand or in a showcase.
