This green prehnite from Kayes, Mali, comes from a collection assembled in 2001. It appears as a globular aggregate with smooth, regular contours and a finely grained surface typical of this locality. The light green tones, even and well distributed, offer a natural appearance that varies subtly depending on the lighting.
The piece measures approximately 33 mm in width and 33 mm in height. Its rounded shape makes it easy to observe the whole surface, with no distinct crystal faces but a continuous volume characteristic of the botryoidal prehnites from the Kayes region. This is an older specimen, preserved since the early 2000s, valued for its gentle color and uniform texture.
