Specimen overview
This galena and cleiophane on quartz specimen from Madan, Bulgaria, displays dense crystallisation across a broad surface. The dark, lustrous minerals contrast strongly with the numerous white to light grey quartz crystals.
The galena and cleiophane are closely associated throughout the specimen, with crystals of varying sizes and lustres. The lighter quartz forms numerous small crystal groups developing between the sulphide minerals and across different areas of the surface.
