This pyromorphite on barite from Les Farges Mine, France, comes from an old collection and was collected in the 1980s. It displays a well-defined association between the two minerals.

The prismatic pyromorphite crystals, ranging from yellow-brown to olive green, form compact groups across the reliefs and cavities of the barite. Their morphology varies from short crystals to more elongated forms, with several densely crystallised areas.

The barite forms an architecture of thick, bladed crystals in reddish-brown, beige and whitish tones. Some edges and crystal surfaces remain clearly visible between the pyromorphite crystals, highlighting the mineral association and the overall relief of the piece.
