This exceptionally large pyrite measures approximately 40 cm and weighs nearly 40 kg. It consists of a dense group of numerous cubic pyrite crystals, closely intergrown across a pale matrix.
The highly reflective metallic faces display strong parallel striations. The size of the crystals, their varied orientations and their concentration across the piece create an imposing structure that can be appreciated from several angles.
Because of its size and weight, this pyrite is suitable for an exhibition area, a mineral display room or an interior installation specifically designed to accommodate a large and heavy piece.
