Specimen overview
This specimen combines blue-green fluorite with abundant quartz crystallisation. The fluorite is particularly visible around the base and on one side, where several broad, translucent surfaces emerge between the coated areas.
The white to colourless quartz forms a dense covering of small crystals across much of the specimen, particularly at the top and on the opposite side. A few small pyrite crystals are scattered over the quartz and can be identified by their metallic lustre.
The distribution of the minerals varies noticeably according to the viewing angle: one side reveals more of the fluorite, while the other is largely covered with quartz.
This is a very beautiful association of fluorite, quartz and pyrite.
