Transparent fluorite – Asturias, Spain | Ref. 584

This transparent fluorite from the Asturias region in Spain is distinguished by a particularly clear and regular cubic morphology. The crystal displays well-developed faces, allowing a clear reading of the crystal structure characteristic of fluorite. The cubic geometry is highly legible, giving the specimen a strong overall visual coherence.

The transparency is pronounced, with a very pale to colorless tone that reveals the internal depth of the crystal and responds subtly to changes in lighting. Depending on the viewing angle, delicate nuances may appear, enhancing the interest of close observation. This type of transparent fluorite is less commonly encountered than the colored varieties from the same region.

The specimen was collected in 2009 in the Asturias, a region well known for the quality and diversity of its fluorites of hydrothermal origin. It is presented on a discreet acrylic base, allowing for easy display and highlighting the cubic form without interfering with the visual reading of the crystal.

With dimensions of 15 mm in width and 20 mm in height (excluding the base), this fluorite integrates easily into a collection display.
