About this specimen

This purple fluorite from the Kardzhali region of Bulgaria forms an elongated plate, with much of its surface covered by fluorite crystallization.

The crystals form a dense and irregular covering, displaying shades ranging from pale purple to mauve depending on their thickness and the lighting. Lighter areas appear between the purple crystallized zones, emphasizing the variations in relief across the surface of the specimen.

Its vertical form makes it possible to appreciate the extent of the crystallization over the full height of the piece. The video complements the photograph by showing the different profiles of the specimen and the variations in color and luster according to the viewing angle.
