Specimen overview
This specimen from Brazil consists of a dense cluster of brown mica plates, layered and interlocked with one another. Some plates are broadly developed, while others form more compact stacks around the central part of the specimen.
The surfaces range from light to darker brown, with silvery or coppery reflections depending on the direction of the light. The finely layered structure characteristic of mica is particularly visible along the edges and terminations of the main plates.
